NEW Tour! The St. Mary’s Adventure Tour is a unique caving expedition through a beautiful wild cave area of the Discovery Cavern. Sections of these passages include rare formations including black calcite, stunning calcite box work, and even formations that ring like a bell. You’ll learn to use some professional rope techniques used by cavers for traversing, ascending, and descending within the cave just like a real member of our expedition team.

No prior caving experience required, knowledgeable guides provide all the training you will need.

The physical difficulty is moderate to hard, so guests should be physically fit (height/weight limitations may apply).

Our guides will deck you out in caving gear to include helmet, gloves, and harness (as appropriate). Also, a headlamp to serve as your only source of light throughout the journey.

Bring clothes (jeans and long sleeved shirt (recommended) – both of which could get stained or torn) and footwear with ankle support suitable for getting dirty and hiking through muddy areas. Also bring a towel and clean change of clothes and shoes. Shower facilities are provided.

Guests must sign a waiver and a parent or guardian must accompany minors.
